i agree, brock was very careless from what i was seeing, going for the big KO or TKO and got out fought cause this isnt just all entertainment and the other guy is swinging to knock your head off.

Good fight… would have been interesting if the ref had not broken it up at the start though. Brock is a powerful dude it will be good to see him once he’s got a bit more experience.

i was really impressed with how brock handled mir, i don’t think his power can be matched by anyone in the ufc. He’s loss was due to inexperience, once he gets better at jujitsu (just knowing how to defend it better) he’ll be one of, if not the best in the ufc. To anyone that says he fights like its the WWE not the MMA, actually he fights like its college wrestling, he had a very high tempo fight style, thats why i think he will do so well, not only is he a monster, he can keep a fight tempo like a light weight.

I didn’t think he was on riods before but he looked a bit flabby here, like he was struggling to keep his build. i assumed he would tap out at some point of the fight but he looked very powerful and could be a contender in the heavy weight division with some more training.

Brock will be the next champion you will see ,with that loss will come experience look at George st p his loss to Mat h ,it made him a better fighter,,Brock needs time and patience ,this is just a steping stone for him and when he has a few more fights ,He will be a force to recken with.I love Brock and his power but that doesnt win fights in the ufc it just goes to show you that size means nothing ,Experience is everything

his ground a pound game is disgusting
but he lost due to inexperience, you could tell he didn’t spend much time learning how to defend against lower body subbmissions.
i could see that ankle lock coming a mile away lol

Lesnar beat up Mir. There’s not much to arguee about. From go Lesnar had more intensity and power. He man handles him more then three times. What Brock does not have is experience. Frank Mir is no doubt one great fighter, but if that hammer punch to the back of the head didn’t get a point I’d think we’d seen a much diffrent out come.
Point is thought Mir walked away with the win on this one. Brock’s gotta work harder.
I’m sure he will though. this isn’t the last we’ve seen of brock.

Lesnar wait too impatient during his ground and pound routine.
He has the power to get a KO right when he was pounding away, if he could just lift his hand higher and deliver a couple power roundhouse instead of quick taps.

Ok guys , this fight was seriously fixed in mirs favour. Im not sayin it was really fixed but how the referee is gonna take out a point from lesnar when he shot the back of mirs head only ONE time and just because frank mir moved his head in that position ? Mir was receiving serious punishment until the referee stoped the action ,the ONLY time i saw him doing that , he allways warns fighters to not punching the back of the head ,in this case that warning was overly justified because Lesnar was a newcomer ,i say it again he only hit ONE time the back of mirs head , that doesnt deserves an halt in the fight , which gave mir time for recovering ,if the ref would have stopped the action for the punch in the back of the head , im sure Lesnar would have won , becase he got Mir totally dazzled with punches after he took him down.
And Geoffrey your a moron , the guy has serious wrestling skills he is all american wrestler , plus they make fighters taking a steroid test but ok say he is a roided giant in his face if you dare !!!

i’m 17 and have NEVER touched roids i’m 5″10 and 210 pounds my body is very similar to brocks just not as big imagine what i’ll be like when i’m 30 it would kill me if people thought i got that way by steroids, 265 pounds wouldn’t be hard for me to get to either it would just require alot of gym time so brock isn’t on steroids if he was he’d be like 375 pounds and theres no way he would be as quick on the mat anyway it waz a good fight brock waz owning Mir but when brock stood up i waz shocked i knew it waz a mistake but lifes a lesson he’ll come back stronger

u ever heard of bob sapp? he’s like 365 of pure muscle u should check your facts b4 u get cocky go look at bobybuilders who use steroids usually about 320 pounds and heavier brock would be 375 ish trust me

Brock needed that kinda loss.. now to see if he learns from it.
Everyone could see that Brock had the fight won… he was landin shots that wasnt even full strength and knockin mir back a few feet. And I have see many fights where someone has took more serious punches to the back of the head than that… that was nothing!! Mazagatti is very protective of that rule… Hes burned many fighters.
Mir did his job.. now who does he fight next?? I just dont see him getting back the belt anytime soon…if ever. The heavyweight class is beyond stacked at this point… and then you have the drama with Randy Couture. It would be nice to see all that mess go away and watch Randy whoop all these contenders… Its a shame Fedors camp wouldnt sign the fight… I dont see the biggest super-fight ever happening.
